1970 Black Dodge Phoenix
Our Dodge Phoenix is a black 1970 4 door sedan limited addition 400 series with build number of 120.
We bought it on eBay from an elderly gentleman (over 90) from The Isle of Capri at Surfers Paradise.
He only sold the car as his needed the money. He told me he hadn't driven it since 1979 (over 12years ago) as he had a scare.
The previous owner bought the car in January 1971 by the Victorian Premiers Department for the Premier. He bought it by tender in 1973 with 38,000 miles on it and has owned it ever since.
It has 318, V8 auto. About 15 years ago he had it repainted and upholstery renewed. The car is in excellent condition and no rust. It had genuine 78,900 miles on it when I picked it up.
All we plan to do with the car is drive and enjoy.
