Valiant AP5, Safari Wagon, Originally purchased from Austral motors Brisbane on the 4/8/1964, I have all the paperwork including the original Receipt.
We bought the car from the original owners Son in 1995.
The AP5 had front End damage and considerable rust when I purchase it and Repairs were made to get it roadworthy. It was used as a club car with the CRCA for the next 10 years.
The Car was taken off the Road in 2006 and a full restoration was done, which included.
All bodywork Repaired or replaced.
PPG 2 Pack Paint, Mixed to the original colour.(Light Green)
All bushes, Ball joints, Bearings etc replaced.
Rear Springs replaced.
Sway bars Fitted
New Boosted Brakes
Widened Wheels with 205 Tyres.
Rebuilt 225 Slant with Bigger Valves Ported Head and a bigger cam, Holley Carb
Rebuilt Torqueflite 904 (Push Button).
Later Model Rebuilt Diff.
The work was completed in 2017, Just in time for the AP5 Safari Wagon to be used for our daughter�s wedding.
