AP2 Utility
1958 Chrysler AP2 Wayfarer
Protec paints, Perriwinkle Blue (was originally Bedford Blue)
Paint and interior done when I got it.
Since then the brakes have been stainless steel sleeved, new clutch and bumpers re-chromed.
251ci side valve six engine (Kew Engine) and 3 speed column manual with overdrive. Since I have owned this wayfarer, I have taken it to shows such as the Canberra Chrysler Compendium, Chryslers on the Murray and our own show the Chrysler Wake Run. It is currently on Historic registration.
I plan to use the wayfarer more as spare time is limited. I have no plan to modify or change anything about it as it is a very original and tidy example of “a work ute”.
